Confidentiality is a key part of therapy, and I take it seriously.
There are a few situations where I may need to share information — for example, if there’s a risk of serious harm to you or someone else, or if I become aware of terrorism, safeguarding concerns, illegal activity, or abuse involving vulnerable adults.
Whenever possible, I’ll discuss this with you before taking any action.
